148: Commission's costs in setting customised price-quality path

You could also call this:

“Commission can charge for setting and reviewing special pricing rules”

The law about the Commission’s costs for customised price-quality paths is changing. You need to know about three main changes.

First, the title of the law is changing. It used to talk about the costs of setting a customised price-quality path. Now, it will also include the costs of assessing and reconsidering these paths.

Second, the law now says the Commission can charge for more things. Before, they could only charge for setting the path. Now, they can charge for assessing a proposal, setting the path, and reconsidering it.

Third, there’s a new rule about refunds. If you pay the Commission more than it costs them to assess your proposal and set or reconsider your path, they might give you some money back.

These changes make the law clearer about what the Commission can charge for and what happens if you pay too much.
