Financial Service Providers (Registration and Dispute Resolution) Act 2008

Dispute resolution - Miscellaneous - Publication of details relating to approved dispute resolution schemes

78: Publication of details relating to approved dispute resolution schemes

You could also call this:

“Information about dispute resolution schemes must be made public”

The chief executive has to make sure you can find information about approved dispute resolution schemes. This information includes the names of the schemes and the name and business address of the person in charge of each scheme. You can see this information for free at the main office of the Ministry during normal work hours. You can also find it on a website that anyone can access at any time.

The chief executive can also share this information in other ways if they think it’s a good idea. They get to decide what other ways might work best to let people know about these schemes.
