ANZA mutual recognition - AOCs with ANZA privileges

11H: Action by Director when CASA gives Australian temporary stop notice to holder of New Zealand AOC with ANZA privileges

You could also call this:

“Director's response when Australia stops NZ aircraft from flying there”

When CASA (which is an Australian authority) tells the Director that they have given a temporary stop notice to someone who has a New Zealand AOC with ANZA privileges, the Director needs to act quickly. The Director must look at why CASA gave the notice right away. Then, the Director needs to decide what to do as soon as possible.

The Director has several options. They can suspend the AOC in part or completely, cancel the AOC in part or completely, add new rules to the AOC, or take some other action. The Director needs to make this decision based on agreements between New Zealand and Australia.

After the Director decides what to do, they must tell CASA about their decision and any action they’ve taken.
