This Act may be cited as the Electricity Act 1992.
Except as provided in subsection (3) and in sections 54(2) and 56(2), this Act shall come into force on 1 April 1993.
Part 1, Part 4 (other than section 43), sections 63 and 64, Part 13, and sections 169, 170, 178, and 179, and Schedule 2, shall come into force on the day after the date on which this Act receives the Royal assent.
