Electricity Act 1992

Registration and licensing of electrical workers and employer licences - Electrical worker registration and licensing - How to become registered

97: Registration subject to terms and conditions

You could also call this:

“Rules you must follow when you become a registered electrical worker”

When you become registered as an electrical worker, there are rules you must follow. These rules are called terms and conditions. Some of these rules are set by notices that are published. These notices apply to different types of registration. The Board that manages electrical workers can also add other rules they think are needed.

The Board can change these rules. They can take away rules, change rules, or add new rules. If they do this, they will let you know in writing.

Sometimes, the Board might change the rules that were set by the published notices. They can do this for individual electrical workers. There’s another part of the law (section 107) that talks more about how this works.
