Electricity Act 1992

Registration and licensing of electrical workers and employer licences - Register of electrical workers

136: Register to be public

You could also call this:

“The public can see and get copies of the list of electrical workers and employers”

The register of electrical workers and employer licences must be available for anyone to look at during normal office hours where it is kept.

If you want a copy of any information in the register, you can ask the Registrar for it. You might need to pay a fee. You can ask for a regular copy or a certified copy, which is an official one.

The fee for a regular copy can’t be more than what a government department would charge for giving out information under the Official Information Act 1982.
