Electricity Act 1992

Powers and duties of electricity operators and other owners of electrical works

28: Determination of appeals

You could also call this:

“How the court decides appeals about electricity decisions”

When you appeal a decision about electricity operations, the District Court will look at your case. The court can do a few things. It can agree with the original conditions, change them, or remove them completely.

After the District Court makes its decision, that’s usually the end of the matter. The court’s decision is final in most cases. However, there is one exception. In some situations, as explained in section 29, you might be able to take further action.
