Accident Compensation Act 2001

Entitlements and related matters - Incapacity for employment

106: Effect of determination under section 105 on entitlement to weekly compensation

You could also call this:

“How weekly payments might stop if you're found able to do some work”

If you’re getting weekly payments because you can’t work due to an injury, the Corporation might check to see if you can do some kind of work based on your experience, education, or training. If they decide you can do some work, a couple of things will happen. If you’re currently getting weekly payments, they will stop right away. Also, you won’t be able to have another check to see if you can get the payments again. If you’re not getting weekly payments at the time they make this decision, you won’t be able to start getting them. This is all part of the rules about what happens when you can’t work because of an injury.
