324A: Biennial review of certain amounts

You could also call this:

“Every two years, ACC checks if rehab costs need updating”

Every two years, starting in 2020, the Corporation needs to look at the money they pay for rehabilitation. They do this to see if the amounts need to change because the cost of rehabilitation might have gone up or down.

When they finish looking at the amounts, the Corporation has to write a report. They need to give this report to the Minister by 1 December of the year they do the review. In the report, they tell the Minister what they found out and if they think any of the amounts should change.

This helps make sure that the money paid for rehabilitation stays fair and matches what things really cost.
