Accident Compensation Act 2001

Transitional provisions relating to entitlements provided by Corporation (but not under Part 10) - Transitional provisions relating to Corporation

399: Corporation in lead-up to commencement of this Act

You could also call this:

“The Corporation gets ready for the new Accident Compensation Act before it starts”

Before 1 April 2002, the Corporation can do things to get ready for the new Accident Compensation Act. You can think of this as the Corporation preparing for the new rules. They can do any jobs or tasks that the new Act will require them to do. This is to make sure everything is set up and ready to go when the new Act starts. It’s like when you pack your school bag the night before school starts, so you’re all ready in the morning.
