Accident Compensation Act 2001

Management of the Scheme - General levy provisions

244: Amounts of levy exempt from payment

You could also call this:

“When you don't have to pay a small levy amount”

You don’t have to pay a levy if the amount on your invoice is very small. The government decides how small this amount can be. If your invoice shows a levy amount that is less than or equal to this small amount, you don’t have to pay it. This applies whether the invoice is for one type of levy or for different types of levies. Also, if you don’t pay this small amount, you won’t get in trouble or have to pay any extra money as a penalty. The government makes rules about how small the amount can be for you not to have to pay it.
